Are you seeing someone about the lingering feelings you have about your bullying? It seems like you have a lot to work through - understandably.

No, since I've yet to fully admit to myself that I might actually need to talk to someone so I'm not ... at the place where I can sit down with my parent(s) and tell them I need it.

Plus, yeah, I have things to work through, but do I really need someone else to do it. Like, SOMEONE. This is what's happening in my brain these days.

Believe me, I get it. I couldn't admit that I needed help until I was half insane with sleep deprivation and anxiety. When I finally went and got the help I needed I wished I had done it much sooner. But you have to be ready.

If you think you can work through it without professional help I think it's okay to try that first. As long as you're not ignoring your feelings. (Which you totally aren't since you're talking about it.)

Yeah, I mean, I know that it might makes things a lot better, because I think I solve a lot of things talking about it and I know that when I talk to my friend P who I met like... not a year ago, I feel better, because she only knows me as I am today and she listens to what I say when I'm talking about my experience and feelings. While, sometimes, talking to someone who was there is like... "nope, that's NOT how it went down, no matter how much you thought it was". *sigh* I don't know.

I'm glad that talking to an objective friend helps, but the thing with the professionals is that they have gone to school learning how to deal with stuff like this and actually help you heal. It's pretty neat. So if time passes by and you still feel the way you feel now about this, it's something to consider. No one would think anything of it (no sensible person, at least) and it might help you enormously.

Yeah, I've been mulling this over for like ..... a year at least, but maybe, soon, I'll settle on something.
