I'm looking through this journal that I kept when Adam and I first started getting close. I only kept for, like, 3 weeks, but some of the things I said in it really hit me tonight...

Now I remember why I quit doing everything like this. It makes me into a different person and I hurt the people I love most. It's not fucking worth it. And now I might lose my best friend. It had never occured to me that rats had taints. I guess probably everything does.

I had the best day with my baby. We went to the junior museum this afternoon. I hadn't been there since the last time we went, probably about a year ago. We really don't do too much anymore- our best friends both moved away, and most of the time it feels like too much work to go anywhere, so we mostly just end up lazing around the house.
