wow. i knit this one up quick! part of my sister's xmas gift was for me to knit her the hat of her choice. she fell in love with escargot when i showed it to her.

the instructions were very clear and easy to follow, with some short rows done in the brim of the hat. even after swatching and concluding i needed a smaller needle, the hat still came ( Read more... )

i haven't really been posting much to lj and never really started here at dw.  so, i decided that i will start posting more... and i think i'll post more of my crafty stuff here now :)

this is a cool ikea hack: someone crocheted a cover (or cozy) for a stool.  makes a boring little stool looks so much better!  i may try to do something this :)

i have a job!!!

i'm not making as much as before (which wasn't all that either), but it's keeping me entertained.  i'm gonna be installing quickbooks with warehousing/manufacturing inventory. i know nothing about that software, but i'm gonna learn.  looking forward to this since i love figuring software stuff out.
