Bobcat and Baby Bobcat at False Cape State Park
I saw a bobcat and a baby bobcat kitten at False Cape State Park a year ago. Allow me to tell you the tale... Was wondering why a much bigger version of my own maine coon was wandering the beach down there... then it hit me.
Kitten was cute. Mom crossed the road right quick, but kitten stopped to look at me on my bike.
Eventually Mom reemerged from the bushes, grabbed the youngester by the neck while we were both stunned and starring at each other and yanked him into the bushes with her.
I'm pretty sure the mom was the only one thinking logically in that moment because me and the kitten were both pretty stunned. A mother's work is never done...
