Friday!!
Happy Friday everyone! Today I had an interesting encounter.
I was filling out an application for Tim Hortons. I was in a corner table minding my own business when an older man sits in a chair beside me. I could tell he was mentally ill from the way he looked & talked. But I'm a nice person so I decided to talk to him. The conversation went something like this:
Him: filling out an application?
Me: *smiles* Yes I am!
Him: For here?
Me: Yes.
Him: Interesting. You should get a job at the Tony Roma's here. Ask for a (name of the person. I forgot).
Me: Will he get me a job?
Him: He's the owner! *laughs*
Me: will he hire someone with no job experience?
Him: He will!
Me: Do you work there?
Him: I do!
Me: What do you do?
Him: I've been working there for 5 years. I'm a dishwasher & I do prep
Me: Oh; interesting. *smiles*
Him: Where ya from?
Me: (Tell him where i'm from)
Him: Do you have family here?
Me: I do! alot, actually
Him: Me too! How old are you?
Me: 19
Him: Oh your just a baby!!! *laughs*
Me: *blushes* Yes, I am
Him: Guess how old I am
Me: *being nice* Um...35?
Him: Older
Me:...45?
Him: Older....i'm 52. Do you have a boyfriend?
Me: Haha. Yes I do.
Him: You know, age should never make a difference. I could take you back to my family. you could meet them. My younger sisters are nurses, my mom is a nurse & I have 2 cousins who are teachers. If you came home to meet them, they'd instantly treat you like a sister
Me:...Are you hitting on me?
Him: *laughs* Ya, I am! Do you have a boyfriend?
Me: Yes. I've been with him for 3 years
Him: Oh. That won't matter. You could come & meet my family & they'd instantly accept you. Does his family accept you?
Me: Yes they do
Him: Do they like you?
Me: They like me very much. They are family to me. *starts lying here* You came too late. His family & I are expecting him to propose to me any day now. Sorry!
Him: Oh...well. *Laughs* Well I best be off! *gets up & leaves*
-.-; Whew! Kinda creepy. But there were alot of people around. If he tried anything i'd scream so loud; he wouldn't stand a chance. I had to phone Justin after just to tell him. He laughed & said, "Is this actually code that I need to get you a ring?" Funny guy. Tis why I love him so.
I handed in 4 resumes/applications today. Someone will phone me back. I was a little pessimisitc at first cause i've had no luck. But i'm feeling more optimistic now. I had my resume revamped yesterday to make it look amazing. I only have babysitting as work experience. But career advisore combined my volunteer work in as well. It looks great. :)
So, i'm not supposed to get my hopes up, but Justin might be getting saturday off. And if he does, he's coming straight to Red Deer to see me! It'd be so sweet to see him again! I was supposed to see him at my soccer tournament but he was uber sick & our schedules clashed too much. It was a downer. :(
P.S. I finished Twilight. What a piece of shit!!! I'm going to read some real vampire love with a new book I got called "Lust At First Bite" I'm hoping that this is a sparkle free book.
