Charles had an extra long bishopric meeting, so he was gone by 7:10. I got kids going, got myself ready, prepared dinner and the dessert, and had us all to church on time. Sydney started back at school today. Crawford and I went to the scout office to turn in some paperwork. We then ran to the store and then to story time at the library. It was so cold today. Having church at 11 makes a world of difference in how our day goes. Charles went to Bishopric and Ward Council at 8, while I got kids ready, got myself ready, feed the kids breakfast and a light lunch, did some Primary stuff, and got dinner cooking in the crockpot.  I stayed home from church today.  I probably would have been okay, but my cough sounds awful and there are so many babies and pregnant women in our ward that it was just smarter to stay home. I do have to say that while eleven o'clock church is nice, it is taking some getting used to.  We were on time to church, but we didn't get anything done after church except for dinner and cleaning up Sydney's room and the living room.  We had pineapple salsa chicken for dinner, which was nice because it was good, easy and made a ton that I can ( Read more... )

We went to return the movies we rented yesterday and then went to Sentinel Peak, which is "A Mountain" for the University if Arizona. Not nearly as impressive as the Y, but it was a nice drive. Sydney's been working through a nasty cough and runny nose.  So, we spent most of the day at home.  Did a lot of reading.
