Short? A disappointment.

At the cover of the first book we can read that this is about how Darkblade Malus tries to save his soul from the daemon Tz'arkan by searching for 5 magical artefacts. One would assume that the first book is how he searches for the first item.

Today I started reading one of my Christmas presents, a new story of Warhammer. This time it's about the dark elf, Malus Darkblade, who gets possessed by a daemon, Tz'arkan. He has one year to find five magical artefacts that can free the demon, or his soul will be taken.

For long I was looking for this book - and then I got it for Christmas from Sol. I was looking forward to it so much - you know, after reading so much about those annoying humanoid rats, Skavens in the second volume, now I was hoping to read more about demons now ( Read more... )

Must say that after the first book, this one bought much disappointment.

For one, this is from two viewpoints, Felix, or their enemies. Not any of them are charming enough in my eyes.
Felix is all about himself, how he fears for his life, thinks always for reasons to get away from Gotrek, and he just uses his brother, and the money he has, without ( Read more... )

The first book from the Gortek and Felix series, from the Warhammer Fantasy setting is the Trollslayer. By going all the time to the book store I actually checked this series out long ago, and now decided to buy at last one book a month, to read all -slayer stories from this series ( Read more... )
