The Circus! Report
Perfomance of the 22/05/16 at 13:00. Report by Valinya.
If Takkun is on any production, I'll go for sure \o/ I was especially impatient for this one because it was an original musical.
I never went to this venue before. It was at the Otemachi hall and it's a very nice place^^ (the theater is inside a bigger building with a lot of other things) And, this time, I was very lucky with my seat! Second row!!! *u* As the venue wasn't big, I was very very very close from the stage <3 I'm so happy!!! Of course, I already saw Takkun very close when I met him but, seeing him close performing is something really different. The last time I was that close to the stage was for the play "Donten ni warau" with Soichi (first raw *o*). The girls next to me on the audience were very impressed too how close we were from the stage XD I was even more excited because Takkun's pictures for the play I saw before going to the theater were absolutely amazing!
Beside Takkun, I knew only Yara (lead role) thanks to "Song writers" and Yata thanks to "Gem Club" and "Kuroshitsuji". It was nice to see them performing with Takkun again^^
First part:
Scene 1:
The play starts with nobody on stage but we can here a voice who says, here, it's Fordam city and, in all the country, it's the place where crimes happens more often than anywhere else. The voice introduced Kento Barns , member of the police section who investigates against drugs sellers so that's why he's looking after the Coppi Family who control in secret the city.
On stage arrive people doing dance and we can notice a (very handsome XD) man wearing a red suit selling drugs to a lot of them. Kento arrives at the place and try to stop the seller but was only able to catch some of the buyers when police cars arrive to help him and, actually, just give the opportunity to the seller to run away.
Musical number 1: "The Circus" by everybody
Scene 2:
We are now at the police office. kento's superior, Elizabeth, is very angry against him because he went alone to a dangerous place and, because of this, the drug seller is still free. Kento answered if he was alone, it was possible for him to catch the seller but, because the other police members came, it disturbed him. He says too it's his job to capture the members of the Coppi Family and he will capture Don Coppi, the boss, for sure.

Musical number 2: "My justice" by Kento
The mayor of the city, Albart Haig, enter the office. As Kento is the one who fight against the Coppi Family, Albart would like to have Kento as escort during his next speech about his plan for the city: a city without any crimes. Kento accept and leave the stage to be ready for the speech.
The mayor and Elizabeth are alone on stage and we understand they are lovers.
Scene 3:
The speech starts. Reporters and citizens are here to listen to it. The mayor announces his program for the city and says there will be an event to show to young people they can enjoy a peaceful life. For this, a troup called "Mirage" will perform during the event. Kento is next to the mayor during the speech but, on the audience, he can notice the man with the red suit from the Coppi family is here and follow him.

Scene 4:
We are in the Coppi family hidout.
Musical number 3: "Mafia's theme" by Swan (Takkun <3)
We learn the man wearing the red suit is Swan and he is the number 2 in the Coppi Family. He's extremely loyal to the boss Don Coppi.
During the musical part, other mafia's members are the backdancers. They are all wearing the same clothes, a hat and a mask. But one of the member seems very suspect so Swan questions him and ask him to take off his mask. the man is reluctant and doesn't obey. Swan catches him and forces him to take off his mask. It's in reality Kento who infiltrated the place (it was a funny scene because Kento said something like: "you were waiting for me Swan" and Swan answered "how do you know my name?", so Kento said " you said it twice during the song so..." XD). A fight starts between Kento and the mafia but it's not easy for Kento as he's alone and ends by falling on the sea. The mafia's members shoot on the water and suppose Kento is dead and leave.
Scene 5:
The troup "Mirage" arrives on town.
Musical number 4: "Go to the FDC" by the Mirage members
The troup is composed by four men and two women. They finally arrive at Fordam city after a long travel and go straight to their rehearsal place. Some of them would like to rest but the leader says they must rehearse immediately. While they are talking about the rehearsal, we can see Kento who seems very weak arrives at their place and try to ask for help to the first person he meet. He approaches one the girls but she is very surprised and hit him. Kento faints and the troup try to help him.
Scene 6:
It's like we are in Kento's mind. He's unconscious so the next dance scene is like we are in a dream.
Go back to reality. While Kento is still unconscious, the troup members are talking about him. It was a funny scene too because they are saying he's really handsome and looks like is from the Johnny's agency (Yara who plays Kento is really from this agency XD). Kento finally wake up. The troup asks who he is but as one of them has a knife in his hands, Kento's first reaction is to attack him. The members with the knife try to explains his knife is not to attack people but Kento doesn't want to listen. Kento catch the knife and throw it away. The owner of the knife becomes very angry and they start to fight. Because of the fight, another member seems to become like a beast and attack those two. One of the girl start to sing and it seems to calm the "beast" member but each time she stops, he starts again to fight everybody. To calm him definitively, they decide to sing together a full song.
Musical number 5: "blue nose lullaby" by the Mirage troup
Luckily it works and all is calm again. The troup asks Kento who he is but it appears he can remember only few things like his name, his favorite colors but not where is from and why he is here. The leader of the troup decide Kento can stay with them but another of the member don't agree since they don't know who Kento is. The leader says they can't leave someone who needs help so Kento will stay with them. Kento ask them who they are and the leader explains they are a street circus called "Mirage" and he will introduce to him each member.
Musical number 6: "We are the Mirage" by the Mirage troup
In the troup we have:
Ray: The leader
Carlos: A knife thrower
Jake: Bike stunt
Bruno: An acrobat
Monica: Animal trainer
Sara: A singer (Ray's sister)
But, at the end of the song, a strange guy with a camera wearing a sparkling costume enters on stage. He says he never found a beauty like monica and confesses his love to her. Monica is very annoyed and hit him. The other members of the troup ask him who he is and he says he's Franck, he's a reporter for Fordam television and he would like to make a special interview of the Mirage troup. The troup accept with enthousiasm so Franck ask them what is their main attraction.
Ray, instead of giving a simple answer starts a very long story. It seems is doing this everytime because the other try to stop him without success and Bruno even starts a timer XD Of course, we won't here everything and we will understand the main attraction is called "Rainbow Mirage" but they can't do it anymore because of a sickness Ray had in the past and they really need everybody to do it (and, between other things, that the creator of the Mirage team was killed).
At the end of the explanation, everyone is sleeping on the floor except the leader XD Bruno who were timing said it was 2 hours long this time XD
Ray suggest maybe Kento can enter the troup and, because he can take the place of Ray, they will be able to to Raibow mirage again. Everyone but Jake think it's a good idea so Kento can stay with the troup.
Scene 7:
Were are in the Mafia hideout.
Don Coppi is here wearing a mask and Swan is giving orders to the mafia's members but suddenly, Elizabeth arrive at the place. We understand she gives informations to Don Coppi in exchange of money.
Musical number 7: "Don Coppi's justice" by Don Coppi
Scene 8:
The Mirage members are welcoming Kento in the troup by a party in a bar.
Jack who were the one who wasn't agree to add him to the troup, challenges Kento in a “drink challenge”. Thanks to this, they will become friends.
Musical number 8: “The man's song” by Monica.
The day after, the waking is hard but Kento seems to not be that bad even after drinking a lot. He is actually the first who won against Jack at the drinking challenge. The leader, Ray is not really happy about everyone's condition (he didn't stay until the party's end) but Kento prevents his anger against the troup by saying all is his fault since the party was for him. Actually, Ray is not really angry and says is really greateful to Kento because he can feel everyone's hapiness again since he arrived. When he leaves, Sara came to speak with Kento and said it's been a long time she saw Ray smiling like this and thanks Kento too for this.
Musical number 9: “I hope...” by Sara
After, it's Jack's turn to come to speak to Kento and tell him more about himself.
Musical number 10: “My story” by Jack
Scene 9:
We are in the mayor's room. He is with Elizabeth and they are watching tv. At one moment, there is a “special” program on tv. We understand it's Franck's report about the Mirage troup so Kento is on screen. The Mayor become angry against Elizabeth and asks her why she wasn't able to find Kento. Elizabeth is really surprised to see Kento on screen too but doesn't understand why the Mayor is asking this to her. She is even more surprised when Swan enters the room and asks him why he is here. The mayor said she doesn't need her anymore so Swan catches her and kills her by cutting her throat with his knife.
Scene 10:
Dance number with the Mirage troup.
The troup seems very happy about their rehearsals progress. Sara announces she made new costumes for everybody and Kento will be the first to try his costume. For this purpose, he's leaving the stage.
While Kento is not here, the troup discuss but, suddenly, Coppi family's members arrived with Swan. The troup is afraid and try to defend themselves but they are not strong enough. Swan says he's looking only for one man. The troup says they don't understand and, at this moment, Kento arrives wearing his new costume XD
(we can't really see on the picture but it's a very colorful and sparkling costume XD)
He is, of course, very surpised by the fact strange people are here and Swan said something like: “So this is your style of hobby...” XDDD (I don't remember who but someone was speaking about some kind of “hentai cosplay” XDDD). Kento asks Swan who he is. This question astonished Swan so Kento explains he lost his memories. Swan doesn't believe him and ordered his team to catch Kento so a fight start between the Coppi family's members and the Mirage troup. While speaking to Swan, Kento's memory seems to come back and cause a hurtful headache. He is saved from Swan by the Mirage troup's member but Swan kidnap Sara and leave the place.
Intermission
Second part:
Scene 1:
Kento wakes up on a sofa with a blanket on him. Franck is here and says to Kento they are at his work office. Kento asks how are the Mirage members and says he need to go back to them to help them against Swan but as he stand up, the blanket reveals he's still wearing his funny costume. Franck gives him some casual clothes but says Kento is too weak now to leave the place. For Kento's sake, they start to fight but, even if Kento is really to weak, he refuses to not help his friends. Franck says this attitude is what we can expect from people like him. Kento asks him to explains what he means by this. Franck explains he did research about him so Kento beg him to tell him what he found about him. Franck says he found he's kento Barns, one of the best cop of Fordam city.
Musical number 11: “The identity of Kento” by Franck
Scene 2:
We are at the Coppi Family's place and Swan is apologizing to Don Coppi as he couldn't capture Kento. We learn Swan was saved by Don Coppi in the past so that’s why he is working for him now. During their conversation, Don Coppi warns Swan if he fails again, he will be killed.
Don Coppi leaves so Swan is now alone with Sara who is bound and cannot escape. Sara tries to speak to Swan and ask him why he's doing this. Swan answers he'll do everything for Don Coppi's justice so she tries to know more about Swan and convince him this is not justice and he actually looks like Kento but Swan says if she continues to speak he will kill her.
Scene 3:
At the Mirage place, watching tv where they explain the case of the cop “Kento Barns” who probably killed Elizabeth, everyone is very nervous and start to fight each other but Ray, as leader, says he takes all the responsability of what happened and will look for Sara. Monica says it's too dangerous for him to go alone but Ray answers he as to do it because it's his sister.
At this moment Kento arrives and apologizes to them about the all the troubles he causes. He says he's really happy everyone is safe until he noticed Sara is missing. Jake screams at him saying Sara has been kidnap and he decieved them because he hide he was a killer. Kento answers he never killed anybody. Ray doesn't think Kento he's a killer and they start to fight again when the other members say fighting won't make Sara comes back. Ray stops the fight by telling all is his fault because he was the one who accepted Kento in the troup so he will look after Sara alone. He tells to Kento to never come to them again and to leave right now. Kento apologizes again and leave. Ray tries to confort the troup member by telling them he will find Sara for sure and leave too.
Musical number 12: “Each of feelings” by Kento, Franck and the Mirage members
Scene 4:
Don Coppi and Swan are together on stage. Don Coppi is giving the order to kill everyone except Kento. He says too he won't allow failure again. Suddenly, a surbodinate arrives and announces they were able to capture kento. Kento is brought in front of Don Coppi and Swan. He tries to save Sara by telling them they don't need her anymore since he's here now. Don Coppi finally speaks to Kento saying it's been a longtime they meet each other. Kento doesn't understand because it's the first time he's in front of Don Coppi. Don Coppi asks Kento if he doesn't want to join him and he if does, he will make Sara free. Kento ask why it's interesting for him to do that and Don Coppi answer it will be very useful to have Kento working for him as the police's head. At the same moment, Don Coppi takes off his mask and reveals to Kento he is the Mayor of Fordam city. He explains with his place as Fordam's mayor and mafia's boss, he can controls entirely the city. He asks again Kento to join him or, as mayor, he will arrest him as murderer. Kento asks him why is doing all of this and the mayor answers it's for Justice. He explains, long time ago, he was a prosecutor so he was always in relation with criminals. One day, his daughter was killed by drugs dealers and, even if he was a prosecutor, he wasn't able to protect his family so, that's why, now, he doesn't trust justice anymore and do his own justice. He says too he will show to Kento, as he is a cop, how much their Justice is useless and gives the order to kill Sara. Kento tries to stop Swan to do it but he has suddenly a strong headaches (his memory is coming back). He can't stop Swan and when all seems lost, the Mirage members appear! They all have black costumes with another special color like super heroes (for example, Ray's color is green, Monica's color is purple, etc...). They start to introduce them like super heroes usually does but they all give different names to their team XD They start to argue about the name when Swan had really enough of it and scream at them to stop this immediately XDDDD
Kento seems fine again and says to everybody he can remember everything now. He says to Don Coppi his justice is not great and will join the Mirage team who even brought a costume for him (His color will be red).
A fight start between the Mirage team and the Coppi family. This scene is made of fight movement and dance movements and I must say Takkun's dance was AMAZING!!! Takkun was SO KAKKOIIIIII *q* Omg, I completely died on my seat XDDDD
Kento is finally catched by the Coppi family's members. Don Coppi says to him, as he can notice, his justice is stronger than Kento's justice and orders Swan to kill him. Kentp tries to convince Swan to not do it and says when he met him first, he immediately felt he was not a bad guy and tells him to open his eyes. Swan hesitates to kill Kento and because of this, Don Coppi shot at him. Before he can shoot at Kento too, cops arrive at the place and arrest Don Coppi and the family's members. Swan take advantage of the confusion to run away even if he's hurted at his shoulder.
Kento and the Mirage team are glad everyone is safe. Kento apologizes again for the troubles but the Mirage members thank him instead because he helped them and say he's really part of the troup.
While they are speaking, Franck arrives. He's wearing an official costume and congratulates them. He says, thanks to them, they were able to resolve cases of murders and arrest Don Coppi. They are all very surprised and Franck says to kento he passed the test with success. Kento doesn't understand at all and ask him what he is speaking about. Franck explains he is the leader of a big group with the mission of protect the whole country and, as they were thinking to hire Kento, they were observing him. As he did everything well, Franck asks him if he agrees to become part of this special unite but Kento refuses the offer. He explains it's because he is now part of the Mirage troup and can't leave them.
The Mirage troup says they are really happy he feels like this but say the country really need someone like Kento to protect everyone and this is more important. In addition, all the troup will actually become part of this organisation. They were all hired because they are stronger all together.
Franck asks again kento who finally accepts the job and they all leave to give the first show of their performance.

Conclusion:
Only Kento is on stage and explains what happens after this. He says now it's the end and all became peaceful after Don Coppi's arrest but some mysteries are still there as, for example, who killed the troup's creator and where is Swan. He says too the troup's name changed and became "The Circus". While he was speaking, we can hear Ray calling him and asks him until when he will speak because, as they have a show, he must come fastly. Kento answers he arrives immediately and tell us ( to the audience) maybe we will meet again.
Before thevery end, we can see Swan is still alive and seems to go somewhere...
(So, does that all means we can expect another play? *u* )
