Been mole-like this week so thought I'd do a reading/viewing update.

Between Busman's Honeymoon and Heroes, I'm having trouble hearing or seeing the name Peter without being flooded with inappropriate thoughts. I'm so glad Peter Petrelli has somewhat emo hair again! FuturePeter is hotter*, but the innocent look suits his present-day personality much better.

I weep for Peter's Emo Bangs. I might be inconsolable. *sniffle*

So, first the Oscars. Some people have criticized it, but I thought Ellen was very funny, I enjoyed the blessedly brief interpretive dances, and I like that they're letting the original artists perform the songs again (though that might just be Beyonce was singing them anyway). Last night I did a triple-header of BSG, Heroes, and Veronica Mars with thismightbejess and iresprite. There was also tasty caesar salad and special powers and secret identities involved. Eeeexcellent.

The promos for last night's Heroes claimed that "the face of evil" would be revealed.

It was. And evil wears the face... of Clark Kent.

Important Weevil Bulletin:His puffiness and welts always looked to me like more than just 'letting himself go,' and now I'm reading on the boards that he had a very serious leg injury during the break. So not only can he not work out, he's also on medication (steroids, I assume) which are causing the extreme puffiness and skin problems. One ( Read more... )
