It is truly amazing how consistently universities seem to mismatch roommates so completely. On the upside, she's just gotten into a sorority, so it looks like she'll be out and about for a lot of the time. :/

 There was a moment today, when I was walking between Honors Precalc and AP English Language while trying to remember what planet Ewoks come from, and, subsequently, whether it was Endor or if that was some place in Middle Earth, I realized just how much of a geek I really am.

End of the school year, of course, as that's how everyone subconsciously measures years. Who actually counts by Jan-Dec anymore? ^>^;

Wow. 236 wildfires. There is smoke EVERYWHERE. I've been inside for 6 hours and my hair still smells like smoke. We weren't allowed to eat outside today because the smoke was so bad. My car is covered in ash.
