cute moments
Penelope is into kisses lately (which we love, of course), and she's learned to make the kiss sound. Today she asked me to put on her finger a little crocodile finger puppet her Aunt Lori gave her, and she went around the room kissing everything with it. 'Mwah' to mama, 'mwah' to the couch, 'mwah' to the piece of paper on the floor. My heart swelled.
We had her little friend Gwen over to play yesterday and they did so great together (they are around a month apart in age). The rocking chair seemed to be the toy of contention, but we worked on turn-taking. ;)
It was interesting at one point when I was catching and hugging Gwen with the Boppy pillow, PJ wasn't looking too thrilled about it. I could almost see "that's *my* mama" written on her face. After a few hugs specially for her, though, she cheered right back up.
