When I was working in child care in the 1980s, I read that story as an essay that was passing around among child care workers, teachers, and parents. We're back. My internet connection in the hotel was pretty slow, so it was hard to use the internet. I don't have much time to blog while I'm at General Assembly (GA) for the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). I heard we have over 6,000 people here whereas the first estimate was just over 5,000; they don't usually officially declare until Sat. since there are those who only attend on the weekend. We're in Portland for the largest annual Unitarian Universalist gathering (General Assembly aka GA). We came early to have some time to see Portland and ease into the conference which will keep us very busy. So we signed up for a "green tour" to see what they're doing for the ecology here.
