Are You Happy Now?
I am! For the most part anyway. These past couple of weeks have been quite the rollercoaster, but with some great highs thankfully. Court came to visit and it was much fun! It included a trip to Carowinds with Cin and Dargan. It was my first time, and very fun! Those rollercoasters were quite scary, but for some reason I like to be scared haha. Good times were had. Cin, Court and I also went to Olive Garden one night, where our waiter was my old neighbor from Myrtle Beach. He lived across the street from me for probably fifteen years (my 'boy next door' haha) and I haven't really seen him lately, so that was really cool. The band I mentioned seeing in concert in the previous post also stayed with Mames and I one night, which was fun. The guys were great houseguests and so friendly! I've also been to the movies a lot in the past couple of weeks, but that has already been covered in the previous posts.
Last week was also weird in guy terms, like that's new. But here's the rundown: a guy in a band is 'fond' of me, my most recent crush does not reciprocate my feelings, i ran into a guy i went on one date with (a year ago) and he proceeded to grab my azz which was of course awkward, and my last ex called and is coming to visit me next week probably. I mean, hearing from kf would have just made that weird circle complete lol.
And the biggest happy news I have is that I finally got a job! Yay!! I will be teaching first grade at an arts integrated magnet school, which I am very excited about. I should be signing my contract next week, so it's finally comin round for me. I don't think I've ever worked so hard for something in my life! And if you would like to help me out, if you happen to have any old children's books laying around and would like to donate them to my lovely new classroom, that would be wonderful. Or any other skills or materials you think I may be able to use. I'm just starting to make my lists upon lists of things I need to do, and it might be fairly overwhelming!
