Beware the Video Games

Games That I've Really Gotten Into Lately
  • Animal Crossing for the Wii
Reason: It's my brother's fault. See, in my house, we have two Wii's: one belongs to my older sister, and the other belongs to us (me, my younger sister and brother). My older sister started an Animal Crossing town on her Wii, and she and my brother were the ones who played it. Then my brother decided to start a town on our Wii. When he did, we discovered that a Wolfgang was living in Shroomba (our town name...heh). Now, I love wolves in general, and the wolf characters in Animal Crossing (minus one named Freya) are all pretty cool. But Wolfgang was the first wolf character I encountered when I played the GameCube version, and I guess he became my favorite. So when I saw him in Shroomba, I felt a strange urge to play. And....yeah....

  • Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness for the DS
Reason: I've been playing this one for a while, and it's so cute. For those familiar with the Harvest Moon franchise, I wonder if anyone else has a hard time playing it after a while. It goes on for a long time, doesn't it? I've reached that point in the game, but I keep going because I want to see a certain cutscene involving my child (who is not born yet, actually), but that takes place four years after his birth. So I gotta keep working on it until it happens....then I can stop. XD

  • Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time for the DS
Reasons: Admittedly, I just started this game, but it's kind of fun. Really hard, but fun. I started playing this mostly because all my siblings have a Pokemon game and are always talking about Pokemon, and I felt a little left out. But I didn't want to get Platinum for some reason (probably because that's the game they all have. So I got something different. Plus, I kind of like the idea of it. The only thing, though, is now I want to write stories about my starting hero and partner paired together....is that weird?

In other news, I'm still working on the Up sentences for the community. They're a lot harder than I thought.
