Sites, links!!
So... are fansites dying? Is it really just fanlistings now, and nothing else? What happened to the good old days, when people made extensive shrines to the characters they loved? Seriously, I tried searching for Fruits Basket sites and about 90% of everything that came up was a fanlisting.
On that note, how come there aren't any good link directories anymore, either? None! They all sort of suck and there's no good organization. ShoujoStation was really good... but abandoned ages ago. And don't even get me started on AniPike.
I remember allsunday telling me that most of the directories these days are series-oriented... but how the heck do I find even those? :O
What's even more strange is that the sites I do find, don't even have link pages. I guess because it's so hard to find sites to link to... but link pages make it easier to find other sites, don't they? ^^ Catch 22, I guess.
