The same hotel as in the "reef egret" post also has some nice green stretches of lawn. I presume they use little if any pesticides, because at night, the place is alive with frogs.

This morning after Easter breakfast out and biking back home, a couple of friends and I stopped at a little retaining pond in the Inman Park neighborhood here in Atlanta. I saw one of my most favorite Florida wild animals today. Swimming in the retention pond outside my apartment was a juvenile alligator.
