TVD is on hiatus, and winter Christmas is coming. I need fic in my life, and I'm sure it's not just me. So let's play! I had a ficathon like this before ( here if anyone was interested), and it worked well, so let's do it again :). Inspired by a similar challenge hosted by stainofmylove

He wakes to sun coming through the window showing off Stefan’s naked body next to him. Tries to stop himself from thinking this is perfect and just kisses Stefan because he’s allowed to do that now

This place is a contradictionThere are more committees, groups, clubs and unions to join in college, she joins them all and is running half of them within the year. Stefan and she move in together her sophomore year because hiding blood bags from their roommates is getting tedious, Stefan says it might be too early in their relationship and Caroline tells him to live a little. She goes to class and comes home and they sit together writing essays at the table before cuddling up in front of the television and she’s perfectly aware of how ridiculously domestic it is but she never thought she would have this and she has never been happier

This is really beautiful! I love the stasis of the whole thing and that hope of being able to live, even when she's dead, turning to bitterness when she realizes that it's not something she can wish away. I think you really captured the horror of the situation and the fake-real life they're living.
