Christmas Werewolf
I forgot to delete my Ursinus address from my Amazon.com account so my parent's presents went there and they are closed until the new year. I feel really bad that they won't get their presents until January. I was so pleased with my self for getting my shopping done early and not have to set foot in a store.
I am so glad this semester/ this year is over its been nothing but a let down. I'm trying to turn 2008 around less confusion more confidence. This semester was no fun at all but at least I got a B in chemistry out of it, none of my other teachers posted my final grades yet which is annoying but I think I can say with some confidence that I got an A in sociology and a C in physics which is fine by me. Chem lab is really up in the air though it could literally be anywhere from an A to a C its hard to say.
So I started taking this medicine melatonin to go to sleep since I haven't been able to fall to sleep easily since I don't even know when anymore. It really works and its naturally produced by the body so its not bad and addictive like ambien or lunesta or that crap. Anyway I can fall asleep in about 10 of laying down and its great. I guess I'm supposed to take it for like a month and its supposed to jump start more natural production in my own body. The doctor didn't really give me any guide lines.
I want to do something fun over break I'm not sure what. I want to do more than sit around all break not that there is anything wrong with that but I'm feeling antsy and in need of a trip somewhere.
I think I want to study abroad in Sweden. I really want to go mostly for the music but thats really what I base all of my decisions about traveling places on. Man if only I was 20 in the early 90s than I would have been totally down with DC due to Slumberland Records and Teen Beat Records both being here. They both moved though and then DC music went downhill (exception Q and not U of course). Actually Slumberland records may have gone out of business. I forget either way its not here nor are its bands.
Possibly a guitar for xmas. I'm not really sure. My dad was asking me about the guitar I fancy at the moment earlier in December and he did just get money and talked about possibly buying it for me at some point in the near future. He didn't say it was a sure thing but it would be nice. Christmas just seems like the logical time for such a thing but who knows. I find that I listen to Belle and Sebastian more and more as time goes on. This time last year I really hated the Act of the Apostle but now I love it. Shit I listened to it twice today in the car. Really though I just listen to that CD and Tigermilk which has always been my jam since I first heard it but then again if anything they did could be considered twee it would be that.
