Television shows!

May 23, 2010 21:25

So the tv network listings are in. I think. There are some surprises on there, to me at least.  I cannot figure out why SmallVille is getting a 10th season but whatever.  The CW is the station to be if you want a reasonably long run.  They don't get nearly as many viewers as CBS or Fox but I'll be darned if they don't stick to their guns and support the shows that the do keep.  It's to bad that Dollhouse wasn't picked up by the CW, it might have had a nice run with them and not gotten so jerked around by Fox.  I'm excited that Lie To Me didn't get totally canned, but only a 13 episode order doesn't bode well for the show that I'm really attached to.

What's Been Renewed, What's Been Canceled, What's Left

by Tim Surette TV.com Staff Writer 04/30/10 01:30 PM
In mid-May, the big TV networks will reveal their fall schedules to advertisers in order to milk every single penny they can out of them. But for us lowly viewers, mid-May is when we find out which shows will return next season and which shows will officially be dead air. It can get pretty confusing keeping track of what's sticking around and what's not, so we've gone ahead and put together this list for you. Bookmark this page and check back whenever you like, we'll update it as we find out more.

Here's the current breakdown, alphabetically by network:
(Updated May 13 ... added Human Target, Lie to Me renewals and Law & Order's cancellation)
(Updated May 14 ... added V's renewal and FlashForward, Scrubs, Better of Ted, Romantically Challenged cancellations)
(Updated May 15 ... added Chuck, Law & Order: SVU renewals and The Wanda Sykes Show's cancellation)
(Updated May 15 Part II ... added Heroes, Mercy, Trauma cancellations)
(Updated May 17 ... added House renewal, links to NBC and Fox fall schedules)
