Television shows!

So the tv network listings are in. I think. There are some surprises on there, to me at least.  I cannot figure out why SmallVille is getting a 10th season but whatever.  The CW is the station to be if you want a reasonably long run.  They don't get nearly as many viewers as CBS or Fox but I'll be darned if they don't stick to their guns and ( Read more... )

I CAN'T believe something lost to V in a renewal war. V, of all freaking things. It's such a bad show.

Yay NCIS!

Yeah well, Flash Forward (what it apparently won over) wasn't that great either. It was supposed to be the next LOST which has to tell you something about the show. What little I watched was confusing and convoluted. But I'll give it to yah that I did like some of the characters. So there was at least that.

Oh.. and Yay of NCIS indeed! It surprising but as the seasons go on it's gaining viewers. Kinda backwards compared to most shows. But I'm not gonna complain. I hope it continues to grow so that I can watch new episodes as I'm crippled in my old person wheel chair.

It hurts my head to think that One Tree Hill is still on the air... I mean, my God, man! And maybe this is the snob or elitist in me but sometime I think I can be waaaay better at deciding what shows should or should not be on TV. I mean just listening to the premise of some shows I can tell are gonna be horrible. Btw, I'm sad Heroes is canceled but to be fair they were kinda running out of material.

I'm only sort of sad about Heroes. I love the concept and LOVE mutants. But after the first two seasons I stopped watching because it was like the writers gave the show crack. If all the characters change sides constantly there's no body to route for. And I think that everyone needs a day off from world saveing.. or just Saving in general. They were all trying to save something all the time.

I'll admit though that One Tree Hill has a spot in my heart. I watched it when it first came on and even though I don't follow it anymore, I know that if I happen to catch that show I'm guaranteed some nice eye candy.
