Scratchers

Made a list of all the homework/reading that is due this week.  I've spent the whole weekend doing work, in between other activities, and am unhappy with the few number of things that are scratched off.  It doesn't mean I'm behind, I'm pretty much on top of it right now, there's a few classes I havn't really touched, but they're on friday so there's time.

My biggest problem is that I like to scratch things off lists.  It makes me feel accomplished.  This is counter productive to the way I've been doing homework.  In stead of slamming through each class I've been parceling it out, meaning I read 2-3 chapters of one class and move to the next.  It just leaves me feeling like nothings been finished.  While at the same time I'm actually much calmer about the work load.  As long as I keep up the pace, I should be able to balance grad school life and activities that keep me sane.

Maybe I should nail out the last two chapters of my Tuesday class.  That way I'll be capable of feeling prepped for tomorrow.
