let's have an uplifting post!
wasn't too much in the spirit when i did my last post, but saturday really put me in an awesome mood for the season. did some christmas shopping with my dad, just the guys goin around town. i really enjoyed spendin that time with my dad. i know i shouldn't be scared yet, but with his weight, you never really know. i've already lost an uncle a few years back . . . whose to say my father couldn't be next, ya know? better live it up while i'm here.
talked to shawn last night. good times.
got a shitload of awesome stuff for christmas. my mom always goes all out and i'm really thankful for that.
a slight hint of saddness, my parents already had planned a trip up to cinci, so there's no way my dad will take me up there so i can make the new years party. they're going the weekend before MLK holiday, which happens to be my last weekend before i start back to school. so pretty much, i'm a bum for another 3 weeks. don't fret though, it's one party i'm missing out of many that we will have once i get up there for good.
speaking of school, i got my grades. A in soc, fucking B+ in calc 2 and a C+ in philosophy. i really wanted that goddamn A in calc, but i could have worked a little harder if i wanted to. don't really care about the others. i'm glad i did that well in philosophy. i was a little worried. no dean's list this semester i don't think, but i'm not concerned bc my gpa didn't really suffer at all.
k, i'm out. i have a computer game to install.
