Holiday Prone
I had no idea this moth was going to be so jam packed!
I mean I knew when I volunteered that I would host ViVi's "Fall Party" but now I am also volunteering at Sydney and Thomas's (although I am not the leader there.)
Thats the Wednesday Thursday and Friday before Halloween right there.
Then there is Halloween day to contend with.
Thomas and Sydeny will need two costumes since the one for the class party is indoors and tends to get hot and the Halloween night should be cold enough to snow.
(Last year Sydney made up her own costume that consisted of a chicken mask and a pink feather boa. Adorable but I think I need to do better than that!)
Then KiKi's baby shower the very next weekend which I have all planned out but not bought one damn thing for. I volunteered to purchase the group gift for anyone who wanted to chip in and then gotr only ONE person who said yes.
(Apparntly the different factions have decided to have thier own group gifts!)
THEN Vang reminds me that he will celebrate his 10th anniversary of coming to america the weekend after the shower. (Thats huge ten years!)He wants to have a dinner party and he wants me to make a turkey! Well being this close to thanksgiving then it of course has to have al the fixings. This should be big enough to amke him feel good.
(I have this sad picture of his one year aniversary, before he met me, when he spent the whole day at the airport remembering how it felt to come and saying hi to other newcomers who will share the same anniversary as him. Oh! Pitiful!)
Now I just remembered that this Saturday is my Dad's birthday. Apparently he took the da off from work and everything.
I have no money for even one of these events. I will have to be more creative than usual I think.
