Yeah, I definitely had trouble following it at more than one point =\ Possibly assisted by my aforementioned lack of Majora's Mask familiarity, but as a whole the timeline of things was pretty muddled.
Yeah, I haven't actually played the game, I just watched my little bro play it since he used to alllll the time when we were younger. Maybe actually playing it all would make it more cohesive, but I somewhat doubt it.
In the description for JADUSABLE.WMV, Jadusable's roommate talks about how he was left with specific instructions for what to do with the information on his flash drive. Truth.txt mentions how sorry he was that he got a single dorm in college because having another person around could have stopped him from becoming so obsessed with the game.
Truth.txt talks about how Ben would edit his videos and posts before they would go up on the web. Ben can apparently "spread" through the internet and filesharing methods. We are warned not to download any of the videos posted anywhere. Text documents should be safe. However, various instances of the word "believe" throughout the file are spelled with capitalizations in the word that highlight the word "LIE

Don't get me wrong, Majora's Mask is great (AND YOU SHOULD PLAY IT IF YOU CAN), but like... the whole point is that it is so much more disturbing than you would ever expect a Zelda game to be, and in really subtle ways.
Like, I played it when it was first released, and was like "FUCK THIS SHIT I'M TEN YEARS OLD," because it was too hard for me. And then I played it again a few months ago and was like "UUUUGHHHH SO CREEPY WHAT IS THIS SHIIIIT."
this whole thing just took all the creepiest elements and cranked them up to eleven.
I definitely would like to play it if I have the real chance, though I've just never owned the system for it, and I tend to get too distracted on the computer to use an emulator. I should probably look into a Let's Play, at the least.
Though I feel like I would feel better if I kept not knowing what that damn statue looks like
I'm usually pretty good with reading, it's watching videos that really get to me (I couldn't even get through the second of the Slenderman videos), so I'll leave the game videos |D
I was at school, and decided to just look into the whole thing about how Slenderman got going, because I thought it was hilarious that the internet could make their own urban legend over the course of a couple months |D I didn't get creeped out at all until actually trying to watch the videos and I was like "IT'S DARK AND SCHOOL IS IN A FOREST NOOOOOOO NO NO NO"
So I guess I should actually follow this thing. I stopped paying attention when it got posted on SA as just text and the only stinger was BEN DROWNED. If it gets better, I'm in.
Yeah, the happy mask salesman at the end of DROWNED.wmv gave me a chill, but other than that I haven't seen anything too bad so far. I'm about to start jadusable.wmv.
