Young Allies
Comfort and Joy by
milleniumrexIt had been a stressful day, but in the end, what she would remember wasn't the pain or the stress, but the fact that even as far away from home as she was, she would never be alone. Family didn't necessarily mean blood, and Anya, Steve, the Allies, and the Avengers - they were as much family as any girl could ask for. Rikki gets injured, but it's okay - she has friends who love her and will take care of her. Oh, Rikki. ♥ She might be a girl without a world, but she still has friends. *happy sigh*

Compelling Distraction by
eli"Soooo, are you Robin Hood? I understand dropping the green-the black works-but where's the hat? And the tights?"
He blinks, then scrubs a hand through his short hair. "Ah, no. And please don't ever suggest that to them."
"Darcy! Call Eric! God, this will..."
Jane's voice fades out as she likely heads off to examine another broken piece of equipment. Darcy looks at the hatch, then back at the guy. "Should I call Eric? Or do you have any pull with Coulson?"
Suspicion narrows his eyes. "You want SHIELD to replace everything?"
"Damn straight. And get us a better panic button."
"In return for...not suggesting that I'd look good in tights," he says slowly.
She gives his legs a good up and down, letting herself enjoy the moment, and the skin-tight fit. "Yeah, you probably would." Hee! Awesome Darcy/Clint! Yay!

don't have to know the words by
midnightjulyIt's New Year's Eve, Bucky's injured, there is huddling for warmth and then kissing. Adorable Steve/Bucky BFFery.
The More Things Change by
SkewBucky makes a bit of a drunken pass at Steve, which makes things awkward between them for a little bit, but they work it out with adorable hotness. I also really liked how respectful this was of Peggy, and also the interactions among the Howling Commandos (team! yay!).
no rapunzel she by
SiriaAbsolutely perfect look at pre-canon Peggy Carter, and how she takes the first step on the path to becoming the awesome and formidable woman she is in the movie.
The Same, but More by
shell"I'm not Superman, Bucky. I'm still me." It was important to him that Bucky knew that.
"I know you're still you, Rogers," Bucky said. "You're just…" he trailed off, studying Steve closely.
"Just what?" Steve asked, flushing.
It was Bucky's turn to shrug. "Just more, I guess," he said after a moment. "More you, which doesn't make any fucking sense--forget I said anything, okay?"
"Okay," Steve answered, pleased. It reminded him of what Dr. Erskine had said. Sweet and wistful first time for Steve and Bucky, who realize that they are in fact the stupidest men on the planet. Oh, heart. Insults as endearments ftw!
It Wakes The Seeds by
SharksdontsleepI was really hesitant to read this - it transposes Steve and Bucky to the (American) Civil War - but it totally works, and it has a lot of great Steve/Bucky moments in it. really well done.

Young Avengers
grab a blanket, brother by
TraincatReally wonderful story about Tommy and how he settles in (or doesn't) when Mrs. Kaplan decides to take him (and Teddy) in after discovering they're living at the warehouse. Really gets at how much Tommy wants (needs) to run, but also how maybe he could find a place to stop occasionally.
