[The video feed cuts on askew. The owner of this device certainly didn't mean to turn it on. In fact, the owner is obviously very preoccupied. The feed is at an angle, and what that angle reveals is of Cole, crawling on his hands and knees, sheer stone walls behind him, across a floor completely obscured by the thick layer of shattered glass

[She's going to try to not freak out. It's not going to work well. She's now gathering her equipment up. She tries to keep her voice steady.]

[He doesn't look up to the device. He hears her voice, that's all that matters. He doesn't stop moving his hands through the glass, either.]

Don't worry, Charis. There can't be too many more. I'll get the right one. Just hang on a little longer.

...What? Get the right what?

[griftering]

The key! [The force of his voice tweaked whatever was under his hand and he grimaced.] There can't be too many left. The right one's gotta be here somewhere. Just...just hang in there, okay?

[voodooing]

[Panicking in 5, 4, 3, 2, ...1]

Cole?! Oh...oh jeez, Cole! Can you hear me?!

[Well, that made him pause for a moment.] Pris...? [Okay, so he can't remember what this mission's about anymore. Lost too much blood. Doesn't matter. Gotta get Charis out. He'll catch 'em up.] Just focus on the mission, Pris. I got this.

Mission...? There's no mission, Cole...[she winces.] Shit...it's this place again. Cole, listen...listen to me, alright?

[He almost protests, though he never stops searching. Then he gets to thinking. Maybe she's trying to give him something to focus on. Considering how fuzzy his head's feeling, that's probably not a bad plan, even though her choice is weird as hell.]

This place, huh? Fill me in.

[There's a second's hesitation before Castiel speaks.] Perhaps not the best time for a joke. [...Yeah, he has no idea what else he can or should say.]

[That voice actually gives him pause.] ...Angel-boy? [That's what Cole's taken to calling you, Cas. It's not exactly PC, but hey, at least he remembers you.] What are you doing here? [He can't string the idea of Castiel in with the idea of the Cats on a mission, and that's messing with his slowly blood-deprived brain.]

[Angel-boy? He's letting that go because you're bleeding. Don't expect such next time.] I'm not there. The tablet has turned on.

[Po's eyes are wide at first, then smaller as he takes in the amount of lost blood. He doesn't know much about how the human body operates or how much blood is in it, but that doesn't look like a meager amount lost.]

Cole. [The tone is calm, reassuring.] Where are you?

[Where the hell are all these people coming from? How the hell did they even know where they were headed? ...where were they headed anyway? It doesn't matter. What matters is making sure Charis is safe.] Doesn't matter.
