shadowplay - simon - misfits

I wanted to vid Misfits not only because it’s beautiful and short, but because I really love it, and was considering doing a general vid until this song came on my shuffle. It’s perfect for Simon-written by his hero Ian Curtis; although Simon would probably be pissed I used The Killers’ cover. Wateva I do what I want! Also there's quite a bit of Simon and Nathan since I can't really figure out where they're going with that.
This could’ve just as easily been summarized as “everything Simon touches gets destroyed,” but you know, I don‘t take those entirely elective Theology courses for nothing. The term “laying on of hands” is interesting because it got really bastardized by the Church/New Testament-- originally it signified a transference of God’s authority or as means of exchanging sacrificial worth, but thanks to JC, it’s recognized as a term for healing or miracles. WHICH ONE DO YOU THINK I’M IMPLYING HERE??

vids, tee vee, misfits
