This was perfect. You captured Simon so well, and you didn't just focus on him being ~creepy like other videos I've seen!

YAY! I knew I had to watch it when I saw it was Simon against a Joy Division song! How utterly, utterly perfect for him.

I really enjoyed this. I especially loved the way you made his head shakes all on that particular musical element, and verse 2 was simply heartbreaking as it made us experience Simon's alienating loneliness all over again.

It's a really interesting point that you make about Simon/Nathan. I didn't really think much of it at the time - they seemed mostly to be playing those two for laughs for most of the first series - but the way the vid focussed on that ending, with Simon failing to grasp Nathan's hand - it really highlights the nuances of that relationship, that will surely make for very interesting dynamics indeed in series 2. Can't wait. :D

I'm so glad you liked it! I loved your Simon vid (and all your other vids) so much, so thanks!

Nathan also the only one of the "gang" who hasn't reached out to or been kind to Simon at any point. I'm hoping in series two that we'll see the rest of the kids bonding with Simon on a really leve and I think because Nathan is the most distant, it would be most interesting to see them become close. I need the new series now ahhh

I've watched this a good ten times since you posted it, I'm sure. I don't remember why I never got around to telling you so, bit I love it. I really think you were able to effectively express what you wanted to with the music and the scenes you chose. idk, I think it flowed positively perfectly. Amazing job, bb.
