Merry Christmas, I got you the truth.
I was promoting a play I was in at a local art faire this past Friday by walking around dressed up as Santa Claus. There were a few members of the occupy movement there, and two of them asked me "Hey Santa, for Christmas can I have my country back?"
What I said to them was "I'll see what I can do."
What I SHOULD have said was...
"No, as a matter of fact you CAN'T have your country back. You know why? Because it was never YOUR country in the first place. Oh sure, that's what they told you, isn't it? That's what your parents, your teachers, your priests, your drill-sergeants, your bosses and your elected officials all told you. But guess what? They LIED, and they've ALWAYS been lying, this whole time, since day one. That's how they get you to SHUT UP and do HORRIBLE things, like killing the red people, enslaving the black people and fighting the yellow and brown people. All in the name of "your country". Well, it's NOT your country, it never WAS your country and it never WILL be your country."
