You know what really frosts my cookies?  "Elite" icon communities.  You have to apply to the community, submitting your top 5-10 icons.  Then the admins will decide if you are good enough to be allowed to join.  WTF??  Who's to decide what's good and what isn't?  More times than not, my favorite icons in icontests only get votes from me, while the ( Read more... )

Squeee!  My Photoshop CS3 came today!  And so did my My Bloody Valentine 3D DVD.  But I'm already 2 days behind with my summer Supernatural retrospective.  (Spent all of last night watching Warehouse 13.)  Must force myself to watch "Shadow."  I'll most likely save both software and movie for the weekend.

Bleh.  I think I'm going to unjoin jensenstillness .  I hadn't submitted anything in quite awhile, but did this past week.  I thought my icons were pretty awesome.  I knew they wouldn't win anything, but I at least thought they'd get some votes.  Well, one icon did get 2 votes (either one person gave it 2nd place or 2 people voted 3rd place).  The other 2?  Nada.
