New year (for me), new season, new layout
Yes, I'm still searching for an LJ layout. I might even try my hand at creating my own. If I had an ounce of creativity.
How I spent my weekend: making tiny little shiny pictures. :)
After a long hiatus,jared_stillness has returned. Yay! I created 3 icons for this week's contest even though I wasn't crazy about the photos (that Friday the 13th Goth photo shoot). I won Most Original. Yeee! I'm not sure why people thought it was original, but I'll take any prize I can get.
My hiatus with jensenstillness was self-inflicted. In fact, I'd actually thought of leaving the community, but I guess I didn't do it soon enough. The photos were old, from the CW upfronts a couple years ago, so I wasn't especially inspired. Results aren't in yet, so I don't know how I did. I'm sure I didn't win anything, and may not have even gotten any votes.
I also entered thehuntericontest , for which the challenge was "Season 1 Rewind." You may recall I won both first and second place in the " Season 3 Rewind" awhile back. I seriously doubt I'll repeat that feat. Heck, the icons are so good, I don't anticipate anything.
And after all that, I worked on icons for next week's icontests. Jared's pictures are from Asylum. 3 icons done, check. Jensen's are from his Paley Center golf outing last week or so (which, by the way, I called!). 3 icons done, check. The Hunter icontest theme for next week is the letter C. I burned out. 0 for 4 icons created. (But I did find some screencaps I can make into C.)
