There are a few things I've been meaning to post (or at least vaguely thinking about posting) for a couple of days, but "past 1 AM" is not the time to post anything I have ready to go except a little heap of links, so that's what's happening.

(In theory I've had a post for the "seven lines from page 7 of your W[s]IP ready to go for a day or two, but nothing fic-related should ever go up so soon before bed if I want to get to sleep instead of being a mess. ^^; I hear some people are not neurotic wrecks about their words. Who are these people? What is their secret?!)

ranalore posted "things to remember when interacting in fandom: a list".

Lightspeed Magazine's Queers Destroy Science Fiction issue (the fiction was guest edited by Seanan McGuire) is out! Here's "The Queers Destroy Science Fiction! Manifesto", written by the issue's editors.

I always hate clickbait titles, but this one bugs me more than usual. >.< Still sharing the link, though, because nearly all of these things are painfully accurate for me, at least: "21 Things That Will Help You Understand Your Socially Anxious Friends So Much Better".

(Speaking of clickbait titles, this article is about heirloom seeds and strains.) "100 years ago, people were eating things that most of us will never taste. So what happened?"

lizcommotion posted "to dog or not to dog, that is a question", which includes lists of reasons to adopt a puppy, reasons to adopt an older dog, things to keep in mind when adopting a canine of any age, and things that are awesome about having a dog.
