Yuletide reveal post!
So...there is no way in hell I would ever play the "see if you can guess what I wrote!" game, because I'm so thoroughly mono-fannish. The fact that I managed to write in not one but two fandoms in the same year month (!) is kind of a huge thing for me, so if anyone had tried to figure it out, I imagine it would've been dead easy. I wound up writing one treat fic and a ficlet for Newsflesh, a treat fic that crossed Newsflesh with InCryptid (one of Seanan McGuire's urban fantasy series), and a treat fic for Warehouse 13.
The Newsflesh/InCryptid crossover is So it Shall be Told, Generation Unto Generation, in which Georgia and Shaun meet Aeslin mice (sentient, talking, highly religious mice). This is the fic I wrote after reading a Yuletide letter and going from "how on earth would that work?" to "hey, I can do that!" within about six hours. And then there was a lot of fretting about whether the parts that are meant to be funny would in fact be funny outside of my head, but it seems to have gone over well, so I'll call that a win! Actually, I think this may be my favorite thing I've written in ages. (It's set before Feed and has no plot spoilers for the series; there are no series spoilers for InCryptid.)
Not Alone in Fear is Newsflesh smut, which I tagged "not quite PWP". (In my head that translates to "not much plot to speak of, but heavily character-focused".) Georgia/Shaun, with the warnings that implies; set late in Feed.
The Place Where We Began is a Newsflesh ficlet for Yuletide Madness. Georgia and Shaun at about twelve or thirteen--still kids (but not quite), still wanting to please their parents (but not willing or able to mold themselves completely into what their parents want), and still figuring out the boundaries of the small world they're already building for themselves.
(All three Newsflesh fics are Georgia's POV, which seems a bit odd, since I find writing Shaun easier.)
And for a complete change of pace, I also wrote Inventory Avoidance 101, which is a short Claudia & Steve Warehouse 13 fic. Claudia! Steve! That was a ridiculous amount of fun.
