For a last 'hoo-rah' my friend Tori, who I met last term in class, took me on a trip to the inner, more Western areas of Norfolk. We took a minature steam train to the small village of Aylsham that shot through the sprawling English countryside. For the second time in the past year I did a little adventuring around the seaside in Norfolk. There are so many small and incredibly old villages and seaside towns in this area just waiting to be discovered. When I took my long train trip up to Edinburgh back in March, the train stopped at a small town called Ely. On top of a hill far from the rail station there was a looming, gothic cathedral in the distance. Ever since, I've wanted to take the hour ride from Norwich to Ely just to explore the town.
