On 4.June (Saturday), I got out of work at 1pm and zipped over to my sister's in-laws for her baby shower. Then I zipped home, grabbed Todd and we drove to Savannah, Ga. It took about eight hours, even with stops. Not bad. We drove my Yaris, getting about 42 mpg. I love that car. On one leg, we actually got almost 44mpg. Wow ( Read more... )

We went to New Orleans for New Year's! It was awesome! We flew down Thursday morning and we got to the hotel so early, we couldn't check in. We walked around the French Quarter and hung out for hours. Our feet were so tired and we were so tired because we only got three and a half hours of sleep Wednesday night. Hello! Christmas was awesome! We drove to Todd's parents in South Carolina Friday night. We got in around 11pm. Saturday we went to the clubhouse gym then came back home and opened presents! Friday night, Todd and I drove to Philly for the weekend. We stopped in Fredricksburg on the way to eat dinner at a Chicago Uno's where we've been several times. It was closed! Last night was our one-year home-buying anniversary and our house's 100-year birthday party. We had a great turnout and my dad saw my house for first time ever (wow, right?)!
