Family visit and sleep!
So, it's time for another exciting update! Hooray!
Wednesday was my sister's birthday so Friday my aunt and cousin came into town to stay with me and party! We had dinner at Urban Farmhouse on Cary St. I was unimpressed. I also dislike the snobby holier-than-thou attitude (and high prices) of "organic" restaurants. The food was OK.
Then we went to my house for cake, ice cream and presents. I gave Debbie a one-year subscription for Richmond magazine and a promise to pay to replace her broken back window. It was broken by a thief Christmas of 2007 and she didn't get it fixed. We stayed up until 1am which was cool because catching up is always fun BUT
Fallout was having medieval night and there was going to be shopping cart jousting with foam fun noodles. I missed it and am sorry for that because I knew people who were participating.
Saturday I worked and met the family at St John's Church to see Debbie perform as Eliza Poe at 2pm. Then we ordered pizza from Valentino's. Valentino's came to me highly recommended but they took over and hour to deliver three medium pizzas to me at 4pm. Good pizza though.
Then everyone left; Supe cried and whined. She hates it when people leave. Then T and I hung for a bit then eventually made our way to El Toro Loco for dinner with Dee. That was very cool; Dee tells some good stories! I wish we could hang more often.
Last night I probably fell asleep around 1am (after setting my clock forward). I slept until 3pm today and T made me breakfast in bed. Then we hung for a bit and I went to the gym. I came home and snacked and took a nap during "Midnight Cowboy" (not a good movie but it is cool to see the old appearance of everything) and now I'm still tired but am paying bills, doing laundry and listening to Supe snore.
I need to shower, finish laundry and watch "The Red Violin".
