Things are good. We got back from Puerto Vallarta last Monday, and I started in the new lab this most recent Monday. As of right now, it looks like I'll be revisiting the lymphoma side of things (i.e. my year as a tech) during some reading to try and carve out the beginnings of my thesis research. I was mildly productive today. Not in the reading papers/studying kind of way, but in the "I don't want to pull my hair out anymore" kind of way. I took Sam to the vet for his sneezing, and it turns out he caught a respiratory thing when he was at the rescue place. The 1.3 lb furball has to get medicine via a dropper twice a day. Rugrat. This is Sam! He just came home today. He is a whole lot of cuteness - he love to purr and snuggle and romp around. He was a rescue kitten, and if anyone wants his brother (who looks just like him) I can hook it up.
