"Don't let go of my hand."

Yesterday I went to DC with Chris and our friend Billy that I used to work at panera with and he used to work at IHOP with. It was really hot like 98 degrees but i still wanted to go so we went. first we went to the Branch Ave metro and couldnt find parking for like 10 min haha then we rode the metro and billy almost got in trouble because he was eating and this old man was like "its a $25 fine for eating on here blah blah" hahah then we went to the zoo it was okay but it was really hot and a lot of the animals were inside or hiding in the shade so we didnt see a lot. we did get to see a baby panda that was really cute. we went in the elephant building and i slipped in something wet chris thinks it was pee! that was kinda really nasty... then we got back on the metro and went to the smithsonian stop where all the museums were. we asked 2 different people for directions and they sent us in opposite ways so we got lost. so we went to the air and space museum but we realized it was a lot better when we were kids lol. so then finally by mistake we found the holocaust museum which was what we had been looking for all along. we went in this exhibit about this boy named daniel that actually survived the concentration camps and all that. he says he remembers everything that happens. they took his mom and little sister away and murdered them. they destroyed his family's shop and all of this horrible stuff. that museum really makes you think. and then we decided we wanted to go home but we were too tired to walk so we got on the metro bus and we thought it would automatically stop at the metro stops but when we had passed like 3 or 4 we ended up in southeast DC and we got really scared because a lot of creepy people were getting on the bus this huge guy with a lazy eye got on by us and one eye was looking right at me and the other one was looking at the sky and he was smiling. i was pretty scared. chris was like "when we get off the bus don't let go of my hand!" so we finally got off at a metro stop and got on the metro to go home. one time when we were waiting for the metro it was coming around the corner and chris and billy stuck their hands in front of it while it was coming. they were going to move when it got there but the driver got mad and honked and then she came out and yelled at chris when we got on the metro our car got dead silent and everyone was staring at him omg hahah it was so funny!! and then when we got back to chris' car the lady at the parking booth wouldnt take cash so he had to go back into the station and pay like $10 for a stupid parking card to get out it was so dumb. and that was the extent of our day in DC hahah. Today we are going to a Bowie Baysox game with my family and some people from our church. it should be fun too. chris is a big sports fan especially baseball football and nascar so i know we're going to have a good time.
