I wasn't really looking forward to Christmas very much this year. The whole time period just felt stressful and exhausting. But Christmas day turned out to be a lot of fun. It's the last day of the year. Usually I don't get excited about the New Year beyond the number of checks I have to stop in the middle of writing and start again because I'm still writing the old year for the date. We put in a full day yesterday. I was dead tired by the time I got to work, but it was worth it.
