Anthrocon, how I miss thee...
I've been a longtime AC fan. My very first convention was Anthrocon 2000, and I've since lost track of how many conventions I've managed to attend. It saddens me deeply when I look at the mounding stack of school-related debt that I'm unable to even put a dent in until I finish college in two years. I can't even land a summer job for two months, and there isn't enough macro-art that I could draw to pay for all of these college expenses.
Now, I won't starve or anything. I have income. I'm just really really sad to say this is the second year in a row that I've had to cancel my plans to hang out with so many friends at Anthrocon due to just being flat broke.
I need a job. Desperately. But no one is hiring part/summer time jobs. Everywhere I've been, it's been 'Full time only' or 'Apply online' and get lost in the inhuman haze of digital mire.
Does anyone know how to land a job for two months? Tips? Tricks?
On a bit of a silver lining note, I'm the first person in my guild to get Heroic 25man gear out of Icecrown Citadel... NOT THAT I'M ADDICTED. :P
And I got my 5th fragment of Val'Anyr. Woo.
