More California/Nevada! Wherein we work in the freezing cold morning, then spend the rest of the day searching for hotsprings! Also no pictured, got chased through the desert, out of a creepy town called Weed Heights, looked straight out of the 1950's, by 6 trucks with tinted windows. o_o

As I'm sure, steinsgrrl remembers, I spent a period of time roaming the western US doing field surveys for the Great Basin Bird Observatory and some plant surveys for Otis Bay Ecological Consultants.
