Too Nevada!

As I'm sure, steinsgrrl remembers, I spent a period of time roaming the western US doing field surveys for the Great Basin Bird Observatory and some plant surveys for Otis Bay Ecological Consultants. Honestly, best job of my life and I'd drop everything and do it again if the funding were available. That aside, I'm getting burnt out on Costa Rica photos,

I'm kind of a broken record. aren't I? Sorry about this. Is this the trip where you spotted a plant on the side of the road and made everyone stop so you could take a picture of it?

Holy crap, so much greener and more beautiful than any part of Nevada I'VE ever seen! We just got the dusty-ass campsite with the inch-long grasshoppers everywhere and the no showers tour... >___>
