I'm happy to announce that I have a new 400GB hard drive on the way! We are going to slap that baby in a hard drive enclosure, so I will have a handy dandy external HD to use for central data storage. This way I can have all my files in one place that will be accessible from both my Mac powerbook, and my linux desktop pc ( Read more... )

So I was looking at the file size difference between .jpeg and .xcf, and it is considerable.

Pictures waiting in /tmp: ~# of pics ~Size 4,005 5.3 GB Average filesize is ~1.3 MB each
