Authors Note: Hello Everyone! As you can see I’ve decided to split the chapter in two because it’s so long (over 130 pictures overall!) Besides I would say that first half is mostly about Skye. Whereas the second half is more about Dane and the band. So both halves have became parts. And finally, I won’t call this a filler chapter because some things do happen, but not totally major, instead how about a progression chapter. Anyways, I hope you read and enjoy!
*Strong Language and Adult + Sexual Themes. Read at your own discretion.*

Last time… Isaac was turned into a vampire, by other evil vampires. Dane was worried about this and phoned Oliver for help. Feeling like he was a failure, Skye tried to reassure Dane. As Oliver and Dane tried to help him through his transformation, Isaac escaped and nearly turned Dane into a vampire to, but fortunately Oliver managed to suck the venom out. In the end we saw Oliver leaving, after giving Dane a warning over the vampire council, as well as Dane deciding to live life to the fullest.

Dane’s POV
By now Skye was 18 and a young adult. She is as beautiful as ever, and more than ever she is focused on doing good for people, and wants to make a difference.
Also, I had decided to make a group meeting with my family, and friends… who practically are family too, everyday. That way, we were together and no one would hide any secrets. It was normally at breakfast, and very often Bella would decide to have a listen to conversations.
My mum loved the idea, and it was great to see my mum happy, her eyes sparkling and her lips folding into a smile. She is still beautiful, even if she is nearer to 60 than 40.
My mum often took the lead in conversations, often spreading to my friends baby stories. What did me and Skye do. Groan obviously.
Life was good. Slow but good.
Then one day after Skye’s graduation thing at the city hall.
“Hey guys, I called an emergency meeting, because I’ve got some… news.” she spoke, with something on her mind.
“Now, you all know how I was planning a wedding.” my sister continued. “Well I still am… it’s just the person who I am marrying has changed, it’s Miles.”
“Miles?” I blurted out loudly in disbelief.
“But isn’t he back in Bridgeport, are you okay honey, you haven’t took a blow to the head have you?” My mum asked concerned.
“No, now let me explain.” she replied.
And so she sat down, as she told us her tale.

Skye’s POV
Well as you know, a few weeks ago I went to get mam’s music box fixed that Dad had got her one Christmas. And so I went to the new specialist repairer in town…
“Oh hello there, what do you need fixing” I heard a gruffer, lower but yet still kind and familiar voice.
“Oh it’s my mum’s old music box… my dad got her it. Would you mind?”
“No sure…” he answered me, but he was still looking at me.
“it’s just I’m wondering, and I’m probably so wrong” he muttered, “Are you Skye Bishop?”
“Yes it’s me!” I beamed happily, “And it’s Miles isn’t it, it’s just you were so familiar, and then you were like recognising me, and… wow!” My excitement started to turn into babbling.
“Why it is!” He smiled back.
“How did you recognise me?” I then asked him back.
“It’s just… your gold eyes, your brown hair, your smile, and then that music box. And the fact that you are… ehm beautiful.” He flirted back to me, but as a shy, mumbling old Miles I used to know tone.
“It’s just, wow this is amazing.” I was bouncing and jumping in joy. It was so great to see him again.
“Oh there is so much to tell you Miles, I’m getting married. Oh, why don’t you get your mobile number, all I got was your address, I’m still forgetful you see.” I continued, still over the moon.
“Oh” He uttered sadly, “It’s great to see you though, and sure we should talk sometime, now here is my phone number” Miles then perked back up.
And so we exchanged phone numbers, although I did kind of forget to give the music box over… sorry mum.
The next day, I decided to go visit Aidan back at the house, I hadn’t seen him in days because he was… busy… which he often was at work. But I was so looking forward to surprise him!
However as I strode down the path, something through the window peaked my interest…
There he was inside the house… with another woman… how could I have been so foolish! And as his eyes reached mine I could tell he was thinking of something to say to say to that girl.
“Who is that girl spying on us?” she purred to him.
“Just a weird bitch who stalks me because she has no life. Don’t worry.” he lied to her.
I could not believe what I was hearing… I thought he loved me, and now he was snogging her again like I was invisible.
Every kiss, every word, burned my eyes and ears.
“I cannot believe you Aidan… you absolute bastard” I screamed.
“What are you talking about, stop following me.” He continued his charade.
“We are over. And I hope you are very happy with that women more than what was going to be your wife!” I yelled.
“I didn’t even love you.” he spoke back calmly. Every word, poison.
“Now get off my property, please.”
“Why would I want to stay?” I shouted back to him…
And so I looked back, and never came back…
The problem was you lot were at a gig and mum you were at work… so there was only one person left to go too…
“Skye, are you okay? What’s happened?” Miles questioned me worried.
“No…” I sobbed, in tears.
“Come in and tell me what’s go on, when I make a drink.”
“Oh Miles… thank you so much.” I then cried.
His short absence… made me alone to collect my thoughts. I still couldn’t believe what happened, you were all right, I was wrong to trust him. But what hurt most was that I had loved him… but not now.
“So what is it?” he then enquired, still worried about me.
And so I told him what had happened…
“Do you want me to go after him?” he posed to me with a hint of aggression.
“No, it’s fine.” Although I was tempted, now I would never step down to his level… lying and cheating.
“I’m glad you were here though. It’s like you came after me or something.” I murmured, slightly happier now I could talk to someone.
All of a sudden I heard a chuckle…
“Well matter of factly… Skye, ehm I actually did.” he laughed timidly.
“You did!” I exclaimed loudly, than I meant it.
“You really did didn’t you?”
“Yes.”
“But why?”
“Well…”
He leaned over and whispered into my ear “Because I love you.”
I stood back shocked “Really you did that for me.”
“Yes I have always loved you.” he admitted to me.
And then I realised, those extreme feelings of joy and excitement…
“And I never realised it until now Miles. But I love you too!”
“You do!” He gasped gleefully.
And then we kissed… and it was the most magical kiss I had ever had. Forget Prince Charming… he’s my Prince Nerd and Mr. Right all rolled into one!
And from then on well we’ve been inseparable. All those times I told you I was at Aidan’s, well no I was at Miles’ doing tons of things. Such as gazing into the stars together into each other’s company.
We often cuddled and snuggled each other…
Sometimes, we got undressed and kissed each other… although unlike Aidan he believed in sex after marriage which I agreed with happily.
We also talked about what had happened in those missing years and such…
And we had tons of fun together, even going pillow fighting.

Dane’s POV
“And so yep that’s it.” she ended her tale.
After my sister’s speech came a brief moment of silence, as we took this all in.
“Although Miles, does have a question?” she added, I forgot how absent-minded she was sometimes.
“So Miles, what is it?” my mum then enquired him once he entered the room.
“Well… ehm…” He muttered timidly.
“Don’t worry were not going to kill you.” I reassured him.
“Well I came here to ask for your blessing on our wedding, Mrs.Bishop.”
“Well, I know it’s quick… but your obviously committed to my daughter and you love each other. I don’t say why not. And it’s Jessica, Miles.” my mum then smiled.
“Well then, let’s get cracking.” my mum clapped her hands energetically.
“Oh this is so exciting!” my sister squealed in delight.
“Are you okay about this Dane?”
“Of course I am sis!” I exclaimed, smiling. I knew that Miles would protect her from now on, and my job was done, knowing they would be happy together.
“So then.” my mother broke this silence.
“What do we do now?” my friend Nate posed.
“Well, let’s get wedding planning!” my mother replied enthusiastically.
“And leave these two lovebirds to it.”
“Agreed.” Me and my band mates said in unison.
