*sighs a happy sigh*
You are a genius. In every way possible. For realsies.

I'm going to try to be minorly more subdued and less verbose in thsi review, because it has come to my attention that I talk a WHOLE LOT. I also get unforgivably squealy at things. trying to cut back on my fangirlyness. Let's see how this works for me... :S
Okay, absolutely LOVING this chapter for a number of reasons:
1. We get to see Giles and Jenny being all them without the pressures of Sunnydale life ( ... )

Awwww, thank you SO much! I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter. And OMG NEVER apologize for fangirliness -- I love it so much, because I get the same way when I read fics, hehehe. :D

1. We get to see Giles and Jenny being all them without the pressures of Sunnydale life. Heeee! I do love writing relaxed-G/J, though I'll admit it's kinda tough sometimes, haha! I'm so used to writing their stressed-out Sunnydale selves, it's a little unusual to write them being mostly-worry-free.
2. Giles is not all dwelly on the sad departure. I did debate on having him be a little glum, but I like happy-ish/relaxed Giles so much more. :D
3. Jenny gets a witchular. Heeee! She certainly does. :D
4. the promise of learning of Jenny's past. I have to admit, I have been keeping this stuff in my back pocket for a long time. I'd always wanted to know more about Jenny's past -- her family history and how Angel/Angelus ties in with it all, so I was bummed when they kinda just dropped that part of the storyline in season two (in favor of killing her off, which ( ... )

I know you said this was only a filler chapter, but oooooh my GOD. This was one Hell of an EPIC filler chapter. Man, I don’t think I’m alone when I say that I am so epically excited for the upcoming chapters.

Alright, so… I really like the mood that we get from Giles and Jenny in England. I know they are very worried about the kids back in Sunnydale, but they are so much more calm in England. It’s so cute. I really like the beginning of the chapter where after showering and preparing for the morning, Giles goes out onto the terrace to play his guitar. I love this man and his guitar playing. He seriously can’t get any more amazing. Jenny is one lucky woman.

When you had Jenny make breakfast for them, I was so hoping that she would have something to tell him. This is yet another thing I am excited for. Little Gileslets and Jennylets? Yes. They would be so epically cute. <333 ( ... )

Thank you so very much!! I'm glad this little filler was enjoyable, because I'm really digging this whole Giles-and-Jenny-in-England thing. Glad it shows :D

I love this man and his guitar playing. He seriously can’t get any more amazing. Jenny is one lucky woman. Oh heck yes. There really should have been a whole episode of just Giles playing his guitar, and everyone swoons. Even the guys. ;)

When you had Jenny make breakfast for them, I was so hoping that she would have something to tell him. This is yet another thing I am excited for. Heee! I'm still trying to figure out where to fit this in (if it will end up fitting at all), but GAH I so agree that mini-Giles and Jennys would be a-frickin'-dorable. Mini tweed suits, and the little girls with dark pigtails. HEEEEEEEE.

The ‘got laid last night’ glow? Epic. Again, I love these two. That made me laugh harder than it should have. Bahaha, thanks!! Their banter is still my fave stuff to write.

As I mentioned on Twitter, and feel I must mention again, when you mention Miss Harkness, ( ... )

Can we please kidnap ASH and film him playing his guitar in various locations for an hour? Robia would have to be there too, of course.

Also, I am really trying to remember what her name was too.. That just makes her even more epic because she is a Marvel Character of sorts. Great, now I am expecting her to Hulk out or start throwing webs at people. Maybe I should stop this now. XD

Robia would have to be there too, of course. Of course. She'd be sitting in his lap. He'd play his guitar around her, and every once in awhile, he'd steal a kiss (since they'd be playing Giles and Jenny, of course).

Gah! The Coven, amazing is thy name!!

I cannot say enough how much I adored this chapter from start to finish. I know you said it was sort of a filler, but what a perfect filler it is!

As I've already mentioned previously, I really love how refreshing this chapter is as it begins. It's so nice to see the lighter side of the Giles/Jenny relationship. Relaxed G/J is so refreshing. :-) The funny part is that I'm a HUGE nut for smut and even I felt that would have taken away from the peacefulness of the whole opening scene of this chapter.

[Mental note: I think I may need to consider changing my name to smutnut for a little while *pondering*]

These two are just so amazingly precious together. They just ooze perfection, and as if you haven't heard it before, but the way you write them makes them even more perfect with each chapter. :-D

Hehehe...Giles playing the guitar on the terrace. Um...I would almost be embarrassed to admit the things I'd do just to wake up to that. *SWOON* (not that my drooling, snoring husband isn't sexy to ( ... )

Heeee! Thank you so much, my dear! I'm so happy you enjoyed this little filler. :D Okay actually, maybe it's more of a set-up chapter than filler. Still!! Happy you liked it. :D

It's so nice to see the lighter side of the Giles/Jenny relationship. Thank you! And, like I mentioned in an above reply, it's really nice to be able to write that side of the relationship, though at the same time it's also a little challenging. LOL. I've gotten so used to the whole "OMG APOCALYPSE!" mentality that it's sometimes a little tough to switch gears. I do so love 'letting' them relax, though. ;)

[Mental note: I think I may need to consider changing my name to smutnut for a little while *pondering*] Okay, so tell me: how much would I have to pay you to get you to actually change one of your screen names to 'smutnut'?? :P

Okay, so tell me: how much would I have to pay you to get you to actually change one of your screen names to 'smutnut'?? :P Hmmmm... I think a deal could be reached. I also think you know my price. :-) After all, SmutNut means nothing without smut. XD

Also, I forgot to mention in above feedback that I COMPLETELY ADORED beyond belief the pseudo fight a.k.a. "verbal fencing". LOL I giggled audibly in the middle of reading next to my hubby. He thinks I'm crazy anyway... O.o

Hehehehehe :-D

Bahaha! I should have suspected as much. :D I shall have to dig out another smutfic from my stash. ;)

Also, I forgot to mention in above feedback that I COMPLETELY ADORED beyond belief the pseudo fight a.k.a. "verbal fencing". Heee, thank you!! They kinda got away from me there for a sec, hehehe. I turned it into verbal fencing since it didn't seem like a great place to throw in some marital discord, lol. Glad you liked it!

GGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH JENNY IS GONNA KICK WILLOW'S ASS

SO BAD

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

My thoughts are so incoherent with asdfghjkl; right now <3 OK CHRONILOGICALITY FTW:

I love the peaceful opening <3 I love the idea of these two living a totally peaceful, idyllic life in some gorgeous English countryside <3 Of course, there's the risk of Giles getting all bored and mid-life-crisis-y again, but I think if you took him out of Sunnydale, back to England and kept him with Jenny then he'd be OK. With his guitar <3 OH GOD THE GUITAR, IT'S SO FREAKING HOT. GILES + GUITAR + JENNY = PURE SEX. THERE IS NO ACTUAL SEX NECESSARY TO MAKE THAT IMAGE ANY SEXIER.

(Also, d'awwwww so cute of Giles to think there might be 'news' :D THEY ARE BURSTING AT THE SEAMS WITH CUTENESS, HOW DO YOU DO IT <3)

Did I mentioned last time she appeared that I love the name Agatha Harkness? If not, then, yeah. I LOVE HER NAME, I WANT IT FOR MYSELF <3 Was she in the ( ... )

With his guitar <3 Heee, thank you! I would have loved to have seen more of Giles' life in England -- the teensy glimpse we did see in the season seven opener looked so peaceful, even though he still was so lonely. Jenny there would've just been perfection. :)

GILES + GUITAR + JENNY = PURE SEX. THERE IS NO ACTUAL SEX NECESSARY TO MAKE THAT IMAGE ANY SEXIER. OMG AGREED. I COULDN'T EVEN WRITE SMUT FOR THAT PART, BECAUSE IT WAS ALREADY AT MAXIMUM SEXINESS WITH GILES HOLDING THE GUITAR.

Thanks so much, sweetie! So happy you liked this one!

Heee. I love when Rupert has those random urges to play his guitar. We really really needed more Guitar scenes in the TV show. Hehehe, we really did. A couple times was not nearly enough. We also needed more of the girls (especially Anya) swooning over him. LOL that was awesome. His voice is just... guh.

You've done your research on this Wicca stuff, I see. Yes indeed. Demon-y stuff is easy enough to make up, but with stuff like this, I wanna make sure I know at least the basics, and then just kind of expand on the principles I've read about.

Like the whole Five Elements thing -- most of my research said that Wiccans tend to believe in the Five Elements (versus the usual four), but then I got this weird idea like, "hey, what if the elements were people," so I just expanded on the basic idea. Turned out to be fun.

Plus, I've always found the Wicca religion kind of fascinating, so it was an excuse to learn a little bit more. :)

Did they ever mention Jenny's middle name? Or ( ... )
