LOL. HAHAHA. The "Windmill Salad" is going to be a sex position that will totally make it into the books. And apparently send lots of people to the hospital. LOL. I love it. Jenny is amazingly sarcasting, but poor Anya. I can almost see her reaction to nearly breaking Xanders arm.

"XANDER, IF WE CAN'T MASTER THIS POSITION, WE CAN'T BE APART OF THE SECRET SOCIETY OF MARRIED PEOPLE :("

I kinda started with the end of the chapter here, didn't I? Lets play the "Skip around the chapter" game.

THE TEASING AND THE SMUT. I loved it, though I kind of have a hard time picturing Jenny staying upright on her skates when they were in the training room. But it was completely and 100% perfect.

Jenny's and Anya's costumes were amazing, though. Me and two other friends of mine have a thing with Charlies Angels. Xander totally should have been the third one.

I adore Anyas fear of bunnies so much. Its random and perfect, especially when she dresses as one.

YOU JUST WATCH. "Windmill Salad" will make it into Webster's Dictionary, right alongside bootylicious. Well ok, not right alongside bootylicious, because y'know, that will be with the B's, and Windmill Salad will be with the W's... but STILL. THEY'LL BOTH BE THERE.

I think somebody (YOU) has a talent for writing Anya, lol, because I could picture EXACTLY how Emma Caulfield would've said that, kind of standing over Xander shouting at him while he clutches his arm in pain. LOL. You're awesome like that.

I usually try not to leave multiple comments in the FB section, but I wanted to reply to this:

I LOVE Charlie's Angels, and have since I was about fourteen. My girl friends and I always used to do the Charlie's Angels pose for pictures in high school, LOL.

OMG WE DID TOO. Except, the funny thing is? My two best friends in middle/high school was a girl and a guy. God, I wish I could find one or two of the posing pictures we took. You'd have your real life Xander-Charlies Angel right there - minus the skimpy outfit. I think he adored that movie more than anyone else I've ever seen. And I'm almost betting we could have talked him into this costume that Xander wouldn't go for. LOL. He even had the long-ish curly hair for awhile.

Just wanted to share.

Someone should go run to urbandictionary.com and add "Windmill Salad" in there. It'll go viral with that. Just a thought.

Gah! There are so many amazingly hilarious scenes and lines in this whole chapter that I don’t know where to start! For sake of my sanity, and yours while reading my nonsensical, scatterbrained thoughts, I’m going to do a list. It’s the only way I can record my thoughts right now. My brain, and body, are fried from the long weekend with houseguests. Sigh….

And I LOVE how they hump like bunnies [Random thought: I wonder what Anya thinks of this statement…] every chance they get! BAHAHA! I never thought of that before, but now I can't help but wonder what Anya would think about that statement. She'd probably be horrified. Let's try and go in order here:

Giles in the Wizarding robe. That he hates. Because it's simple.
I love him.
I can totally see him in the full Long John Silver getup. It was probably historically accurate and everything. :) He gets way into Hallowe'en. Probably because he's so serious.
I'm glad he does it though. Because everytime Giles gets dressed up in some stupid costume, despite the fact that I am horridly embarrassed for him, it makes me adore him even more.

And Jenny being an angel with Anya. Love. I especially love Giles' reaction to it. HOT! That man can tease like NOBODY'S business. The whole scene in the bathroom was hot like crazy, with the whole: Why do you torture me so? But this line really got to me:
He was pleased when Jenny's response came as nothing more than a half-whispered incoherent babble, his eyes bouncing to her reflection in the mirror only to find her eyes closed.Ummm...CAN ( ... )

It's always a little sad for me to watch Buffy rely on Giles so much, forcing him to move back to England. BAH! WHY!?!?!? But I like how well you've incorporated Jenny into it. With the two of them taking different (but not opposing) stands on the Dawn situation.

And I love how Xander felt the need to drive all the way to their apartment to confront Jenny about 'Windmill Salad'. Beautiful.
Plus Giles thinks it's funny, too, which is grand.

It's always a little sad for me to watch Buffy rely on Giles so much, forcing him to move back to England. I know, that was the big bummer of season six. The poor guy. Though it does make me feel a little bit better being able to incorporate Jenny into it, because Giles really did need someone who saw what he was struggling with -- trying to help Buffy and at the same time trying to teach her to stand on her own -- and I just think Jenny would've been so good for him there. (Well, she always is, but especially in the whole 'support' respect.)

And I love how Xander felt the need to drive all the way to their apartment to confront Jenny about 'Windmill Salad'. Beautiful. Bahaha! Thanks. Xander is just such a perfect comedic tool (and I don't mean 'tool' in the derogatory sense, lol, though we know he can act like a tool at times too) -- I kind of look at him as this strange amalgam of Chandler and Joey from Friends. And I love writing his interactions with Jenny oh-so-much, hehe ( ... )

As for Jenny's costume -- I was originally thinking of a skin-tight black cat costume, but I thought the short-shorts might be more fun, hehehe. And Robia's definitely got the legs to pull it off.

Also, I loved that little thing when they were leaving the apartment, when Jenny grabbed his robe, and he grabbed her skates. MARRIED!!!!!!! *fangirly squee* Heeeee, thanks! I have had so much fun tossing in those tiny little husband/wife-y moments. That's part of the reason I was so excited to get them married. :D

Xander totally should have been the third angel. No doubt. HAHAHA! It'd be hilarious, and slightly disturbing. He couldn't quite wear the hell out of those shorts like Anya and Jenny ( ... )

Thank you!! I originally really wanted Jenny dressed up as a black cat (hi skin-tight black spandex!), but I had forgotten the pure awesome of those short-shorts. So, Charlie's Angels it quickly became. Plus, I figure I could get a lot of miles out of the Xander/Jenny stuff with that costume too, lol :)

I would have to agree with you, the teasing and one-upping is soooo much more fun to read than the actual smut, even though that's pretty nice too. It really is! TBH, sometimes smut-writing gets kind of 'chore'-like (if that makes sense at all), whereas teasing is just all fun and banter and love.

The party was definitely my favorite part, especially the scene where Xander is talking to Giles about knowing if Jenny was the right one. Thank you! I so adored that part in the episode with Giles trying to give Xander a pep talk on the stairs, but I always felt it needed a little more substance. In the show, after all, Giles didn't have the experience in a long-term relationship to really be of any help to Xander (which Xander definitely ( ... )
