Here’s the thought of the day, come on!

This is a quote by the Italian director, Federico Fellini-san. Although we feel as though things with a beginning will have an ending, if we change our viewpoint and awareness even just a little, we can see endings as beginnings. As long as you do not lose that passion, you should be able to progress even if you stumble along the way.

Mm. Well, it all depends on you, doesn’t it?

Movies. Speaking of movies, um...

The other day I went to Paris and London for a bit, right. So the flight was like what, 12 hours? Something like that. Well, I quite like being on long flights. Um, like watching movies and listening to music and stuff.

So it was 12 hours. It was like those night flights. We’d finished filming, then we just went to Haneda and got on the flight.

And then, right, I got a shock. I fell asleep immediately and then awoke with a start. Next thing I knew, 10 hours had passed. (laughs)

I’d slept for 10 hours! And then I was like, ‘Crap! I didn’t enjoy anything at all! I didn’t even eat!’ So I hurriedly flagged down the first stewardess I saw.

“Would you like anything to eat?” she asked me.

“Ah, do you have any curry?” So I wolfed down some curry.

Then I was like, “I gotta watch something!” and turned on the movie channel. “Ah, they have Tsuribaka!” So I picked that one and started watching it. I didn’t manage to finish it though. It was kind of a nonsensical flight.

Guys, be careful that you don’t oversleep!
