It is done!
The epic adventure of yarn hair is drawing to a close as I sew the last line on, and sit back to admire my handiwork (and mutter beneath my breath, "Thank god that's over!")
I'm exaggerating a little bit because it really wasn't that bad. It was tedious but in the way I like, where you can just plod along. It feels good to devote your mind to a task sometimes.
So there's about 25 lines of hair here, amounting to around 200 yards of wool all up and I'm guessing about 2 pints of blood lost through pricking my fingertips with the needle!
And now... drumroll please...

It's time to attach his head!
Then I'll do some styling and thinning in places (he's a bit of a boof right now) and then it's time for teary goodbyes. I must admit I've grown rather attached to this little guy..
