Unless you wanna see what your swap package is! I couldn't resist peeking at mine :D

This is my first ever zipper pouch. It's not perfect but overall I'm happy with how it turned out!
My favourite part is obviously the appliqué. I had a really rustic, almost children's storybook image in my mind of Aussie farming land. A little farm house and a windmill, with some grazing sheep. I really LOVE how this turned out, and I'd love to do more appliqués like it. It was kind of liberating to just use stitches like paint.
The appliqué itself is felt, on some cotton drill. The back of the pouch is that cute "rustic" (can I say that word too much? Probably) floral pattern that reminds me of period farming dresses, that you can see on the wristlet strap.
Oh, and a choccie donut on the zip. It doesn't really mesh with the theme but I wanted to put a charm on and the brown one looked the best.
A wood-mounted hand-carved stamp of her etsy banner/logo.
I foolishly didn't take a measurement before I posted it off but it's about 5" long x 2" tall.
I think it would look nice as a letterhead, or perhaps on invoices or the back of hand-made cards, or maybe even printed on bag linings with some fabric ink.
I also made her a wee honeycomb stamp (not too sure how it turned out though!) and a tiny bee, which you can see printed on some sticker dots here...
I think maybe my favourite thing about carving my own stamps is that no matter what level your drawing or designing skill is, EVERYTHING looks cute when stamped!
And finally, a giant bee stuffie!
Is it a pin-cushion? Is it just a toy? Or maybe it's a beemissile! All I know is it's too cute and I just had to make her one.
Pattern for the bee can be found here:
