Aaaand then on the second day she overslept. Crap. Waking up to a ton of e-mails and scrambling to get things done is not a good way to start the day. I'll try again tomorrow.

I got a couple of practical things done after work, even though I got off work a lot later than expected. I finally donated this huge bag of clothes to charity, I think I sorted through my clothes before the summer, but somehow never got around to taking out the bag of clothes until now? And I went to the post office. :D It turns out mailing letter parcels isn't quite as expensive as I thought it was? This is an interesting turn of events. I might be compelled to do snail mail more often.

Winter has set in over Norway now, the last couple of days have been really cold, and it's going to get a lot colder. It's currently -8, -10 C, but with the wind and dryness it feels like -15, -20 C. I wish I didn't have to venture outside at all.

Ever since starting my roller derby course I've been meaning to do strength exercises and build my core muscles. I figure this could easily be done with regular short routines at home, but I have yet to figure out a workout or a schedule. I suck. So this is my main project currently. I'll still be attending roller derby, but since I didn't pass my minimum skills, I'll only be allowed to attend their Tuesday workouts (until they start another 101 course). Glad I'll still be able to skate at least once a week, though :) Looking forward to starting up again, even though it seems like my old coworker who did the 101 course with me is going to quit.
